Welcome!
Originally intended as a place to share my personal thoughts, photos, and music with friends, family and relatives, Oudam.com has evolved into one that serves broader Cambodian interests. This expansion in scope was inspired by my frequent travels to Cambodia and the rapidly growing interest in this site.
At this point, there are hundreds of Khmer karaoke videos gathered from various places on the web, mainly YouTube.com, providing hours of entertainment. Some of you may have found this site through YouTube.
Cambodia is very dear to my heart. Although my family immigrated to U.S. since I was nine years old, we travel to Cambodia on a regular basis and maintain a firm connection with the country. Through this site, I hope to promote appreciation for Khmer culture by showcasing some of the best of Khmer music available on the net.
But, as we know, Cambodia is not just about song and dance. In many ways our country is still reeling from decades of war and destruction and is facing serious problems, including widespread corruption, poverty, human rights abuse, and sex tourism. Intended as a positive force in the rebuilding of Cambodia, this blog also offers news, views and resources aimed at promoting peace, unity and prosperity in our beloved homeland.
Since its inception in January, 2007, Oudam.com has grown by leaps and bounds. We are already one of most popular Khmer sites on the internet. Although I run over 50 other websites, Oudam.com is by far my favorite. It is a labor of love. I will continually add fresh content and enhancements to the site to make the site more useful, interesting and entertaining.
I wish to thank everyone for your interest in Oudam.com. I am especially grateful to my fellow Cambodians, both in Srok Khmer and from abroad, who have emailed me to offer words of support and encouragement.
Take care everyone!
Oudam

Oudam -
Although I’ve known you for a long time, I never knew you have his website. I stumbled upon your site by accident while searching for Cambodian music and I’m glad I did!
I’ve always been very proud of what you represent to the Cambodian community. I was proud of you a long time ago when you became first Cambodian to graduate from the highly prestigious Rice University. And I am proud of you now that you’re setting up this site to inspire Khmer people to come together and work toward a common goal.
As a friend and a fellow Khmer, I want to thank you for devoting your advanced intellect and education to a noble, selfless cause. You’re a great role model for all young Cambodians to follow!

I appreciate your fairness and honesty.
I’m a Cambodian American who has been living in Siem Reap for the last four years. As a Cambodian from overseas I just don’t like it when I see other overseas Khmers come to Cambodia and think they’re better than everyone else because they run around with white people. They’re no better than the Vietnamese puppets because they are the puppets of Westerners themselves.
Some of us are here to help unite Khmer people and encourage our people to love each other. All the foreign puppets need to take their shit back to America, Australia, Vietnam, or whatever country that controls their minds and stop helping the foreigners divide and conquer our people.

Go on Youtube and type in Cambodian children of the streets or Cambodian Child sex.
Look what war has done to our children, our brothers, our sisters, our family.
We, those who have resources, time, talent, etc, need to stand up and save our people.
There are foreigners who are in Cambodia dedicating their lives to our people, while most Cambodians are idle.
