The concert was a huge success.
Him Sivorn and Chom Chorvin performed to a packed banquet hall. I’d say there were at least 500 people at the show.
Everyone had a blast, dancing until the end of the show. It was great to see such a large gathering of the Khmer community in Houston. Some people came from as far as California to attend the show.
After all expenses the event was able to raise over $7,500 for Wat BuddhaRangsey Buddhist Temple. This is what Khmer pride and unity are all about!

I am thrilled to announce that the legendary Him Sivorn will be performing in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at Kim Phung Restaurant.
She will be accompanied by the equally talented Ms. Chom Chorvin.
If you will be in the Houston area on Oct. 20, I suggest that you make reservations to attend this rare event.
Proceeds will benefit Wat BuddhaRangsey Buddhist Temple of Houston.
